Andrew Warren, Chair and Trustee
Andrew is Chairman of the British Energy Efficiency Association (BEEF) which provides a forum of consultation between industry associations and the energy sector. He was the Founder Director of the Association for the Conservation of Energy (ACE) from 2018 to 2014 and a Special Advisor to the House of Commons Environment Committee. He was the senior advisor to EuroACE, chairing the EU working party responsible for creating the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and was a member of the Commission’s advisory group on combatting climate change.

Syed Ahmed OBE, Trustee
Syed has over 20 years working in the sustainable energy industry, in a wide variety of roles and organisations, including time seconded into Government. Syed established Energy for London in 2013, an independent research and campaigning organisation working for London to be a low carbon city. Syed also supported the creation of Community Energy London in 2017. Syed is a Director of the Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group (PRASEG), a Trustee for national fuel poverty organisation National Energy Action (NEA), a policy advisor to the Green Gas Certification Scheme (GGCS) and Chair of the community energy group, Repowering London. He was awarded an OBE in January 2022 for services to Community Energy and Decarbonisation.

Tanya Kenny, Trustee
Tanya worked on parliamentary campaigns at the Association for the Conservation of Energy and prior to that, she worked on the campaign for the Sustainable Communities Act. She now works in external affairs and research at Demand Logic, focusing on making large commercial buildings more energy-efficient.

Martyn Williams, Trustee
Martyn worked for over ten years at Friends of the Earth where he ran many successful campaigns including those for the Climate Change Act and the Doorstep Recycling Act. He has also been a trustee at 10:10, now Possible.

Ron Bailey, Secretary
Ron has run campaigns that have achieved over 25 successful legislative changes including the Energy Conservation Act, the Warm Homes Act and the Sustainable Energy Act. He campaigned for squatters’ rights in the 1960s and later for housing reforms to alleviate homelessness.
